Private Guiding

It is our firm belief that having a professional private guide accompany you on your African travels elevates any safari to a premium experience. The obvious benefit of this is having nature in all its many facets from the large and charismatic animals and their behaviors to the small and lesser-known, yet equally fascinating creatures explained. However a professional private guide also offers guests a deeper insight into a country/s historic, socio-economic and political context.

Additionally a private guide eases the hassle of dealing with bureaucracies such as African border crossings and dealing with officialdom. Thus it ensures efficient and time-saving travel.

We have a small core of professional guides, each with a unique set of skills who we represent. Skills and interests range from expert walking guides, specialist birders, herpetologists, wildlife, photographers and even archeologists.

We provide all camera support systems free of charge and can arrange camera and lens rentals

We specialize in wildlife photography. Having a professional wildlife photographer with a wildlife and conservation background guide you ensures that you not only get the shot but the wildlife behavior is also accurately explained.

It is important to note that each guide is a professional and has made wildlife guiding his or her profession and have invested years into own personal development. We do not employ any guide who does another job full time and only “freelance” in his or her spare time.

We also offer this private guiding service to travel agents looking for a professional guide to accompany their premium safaris. With experience spanning more than a decade in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda we can confidently guide your clients throughout Africa’s safari circuit.

We pride ourselves in maintaining a professional relationship throughout and any guest who is introduced to us by an agent remains the client of the agent.
